Employees Only Sydney is the latest outpost of the New York speakeasy, following locations in Singapore, Miami, Los Angeles and Hong Kong, occupying a heritage-listed basement on Barrack Street and known for its members-only-venue feel without the membership fees. It's a brand with global DNA and a cult following, so the challenge wasn't building recognition, it was making sure the Sydney identity felt like it belonged in that lineage while still standing on its own. We leaned into the world already there: dark timber, brass, deep greens, and a hint of theatre, all polished into an identity confident enough to sit alongside every other EO in the world, and distinct enough to be unmistakably Sydney's own.
