General Gordon Hotel

The General Gordon is a classic Sydney pub in Sydenham, the kind of place locals treat like a second lounge room, with a bar, bistro, and rooms upstairs. It's a business built on being the neighbourhood's easiest yes: come for a pint, stay for the parma, crash in a room if the night runs long. We wanted the brand to feel exactly like that, warm, unpretentious, and a little larrikin, without losing the credibility of a proper pub with proper food. The result leans into classic pub heritage with a modern edge: confident typography, a colour palette that feels equally at home on a beer tap and a hotel key card, and a tone of voice that sounds like the mate behind the bar who actually knows your order.
